Shows That Were About To Make The List are Degrassi and Malcolm In The Middle

“Ed, Edd and Eddy” is number 10 because they remind me of the “3 Stooges.” Ed was the dumb one. Edd was the smart one and Eddy was the leader who swore he knew everything. They would do anything for a quarter. This show was the only cartoon on Cartoon Network that involved no parents at all. There were a lot of things that the writers of the show kept anonymous like the characters last names, what school they went to, who their parents were, their ages, and where they lived. My favorite character of the show is Rolf because he is different from the rest of the characters. I love his culture. My favorite episode was when they had an election for who would win “king of the culdesac.” Culdesac (the place where they called their neighborhood) is not even a word. lol

“Rugrats” is number 9 because you get to see life from a baby’s perspective. The characters of the show were very creative, clever and funny at the same time. My favorite character was Angelica because I loved the way she stirred up trouble between the characters. She was spoiled  and mean yet kind-hearted. I also love the way she manipulates people. My favorite episode was when Angelica made all of the babies turn their back on each other when they wanted to join her club. The babies had so many adventures that the parents didn’t even know about. I loved the movie “Rugrats Go To Paris.”

“As Told By Ginger” is number 8 because it was about real problems in junior high. The show targeted young girls that were going through changes of  puberty or starting to find relationships whether it was finding friends that understood you or if you were starting to date. They had the typical 3 musketeers friendship ( 2 girls and 1 guy). I loved the drama. They had the popular crowd against the normal crowd. Ginger was my favorite character because everything was mostly about her. She was very genuine. My favorite episode was when she finally fell in love with her best friend, Darren.

“8 Simple Rules” is number 7 because the show was funny. Katey Segal,  the actress who played the mom on “Married With Children”,   and John Ritter, the actor who played the role of Jack Tripper on “Three’s Company,” came together to create a show about a married couple with three kids.  My favorite episode was when they did a re-enactment of “Three’s Company.” Both actors came from shows that were hilarious. I liked their children. Bridgette, the oldest, was the dumb yet pretty one. Everything worked out for her. Kerry, the middle child, was the smartest one. She was very caring. Roary, the youngest, was the nosy trouble-maker.

“Three’s Company” is number 6 because John Ritter’s acting was so believable. He was the klutz. Anytime he fell or tripped, he made it look so natural. His character, Jack Tripper, was hilarious on the show. Tripper was the flirt that lived with 2 roommates that were girls. I liked how the show was about assumptions of sexual activity between the roommates. I didn’t understand why the writers kept changing around the third roommate. First it was Chrissy. Then it was Cindy. Then it was Terry. Cindy was my least favorite roommate because she wasn’t that funny and she didn’t even last that long. Chrissy was my favorite roommate because she was so dumb.

“Lincoln Heights” is number 5 because the action and the suspense in the show.  This show is the only show that’s different from the typical shows that I watch. Anytime this show is on, my eyes are glued to the screen. I can’t miss an episode. The show is on it’s fourth season. Season 2 was favorite out of them all. The suspense was perfect. The show is about the married couple of a cop and a doctor who are trying to raise their children in a bad neighborhood. The cop’s job always interfere with the family’s life and puts them in danger. My favorite episode was when one of their kids got kidnapped.

“King of Queens” is number 4 because the show is hilarious. I love every episode of this show.  The characters, Doug and Carrie, are so opposite from each other. Doug is the nice, funny and easy going one and Carrie is the more serious and uptight one. Together as a married couple, they are hilarious. The show is about Doug, a UPS driver, and a secretary, Carrie, who live in Queens and takes care of Carrie’s father, Arthur. Arthur is my favorite character because he is a 82 year old kid. My favorite episode was when Carrie started doing her hair in a bun and Doug didn’t like it. Doug’ friends are hilarious. Spencer and Danny are roommates but they act as though they are a couple.

Martin is number 3 because the show is just about cracking jokes on other people. I like how Martin Lawrence plays multiple characters on the show. He can play the role of a woman and be so believable. my favorite role that he plays is Shanaenae. I really like Martin’s friends in the show. I like Pam because she always gets into arguments with Martin. I love how they call each other names. I also like when Martin always cracks Jokes about Tommy not having a job. My favorite episode has when somebody stole Martin’s  CD player so Martin tried to interregate his friends but it turned out that it was his neighbor. I wish this show was back on the air.

“Girlfriends”  is number 2 because that show is so addictive. I can watch an all-day marathon of this show. The storyline is great. Four middle-aged women with completely different personalities are perfect for drama.  I love all the characters. The show is funny and has a little bit of drama. All of the characters personalities just makes the show so enjoyable to watch. I realized that Toni was my favorite character when she left the show. She brought the “umph.” She was so conceited and was the drama queen. I loved her character. After she left, the show just went downhill from there. I don’t think the show would of felt complete if any of the characters would of left. The show needs all of them there.  Joan is my favorite character, besides Toni, because she’s kind of crazy when it comes to holidays. She’s hilarious.

“Family Guy” is number 1 because the show is absolutely hilarious. Sometimes the show can be a little off with the comedy but overall the show keeps me laughing. Some of the skits in the episodes I know word-from-word because they are unforgettable. I even act them out with my friends. The skits are that hilarious. My favorite skit was when they did an Asian version of a commercial for Trix cereal. I like the latest  season of this show because it’s been making me laugh. My favorite episode was when James Woods returned and stole Peter’s identification. My favorite character is Stewie because he makes the funniest jokes and I love when him and Brian go adventures together.

I chose this show because I always heard about this show from other people and I always saw the commercials for it so I just wanted to check it out. I thought this show was going to be outrageous with a whole bunch of drama and what not but I was wrong. I usually watch comedy shows so I was kind of but not really stepping out of my typical element. I don’t understand how the show went on for so many seasons. Some reviews from bloggers say that this show was excellent in talking about social issues and moral problems but I don’t feel the same way. I feel like this show isn’t for mature people. Maybe their talking about as the show progressed from season to season. I only watched one season and I was not impressed at all.

This show was very easy to watch. In every episode there was a theme. The themes weren’t that hard to figure out. I felt, at times, like  I was watching a show for preschoolers. There was nothing that was very challenging to understand. This show had some highs and lows when it came to creating suspense within each episode. My favorite episode of the season was episode number 17, “Sometimes That’s Just The Way It Is,” because that was the fist time the show had a lot of surprises that I definitely wasn’t expecting.

I was familiar with the costume design because they wore clothes that I use to wear in the 1990′s. The clothes were very lose fitted. There were a lot of plain and dull colors. Nobody wore anything that was over the top and that would not fit their character in any way. Everybody wore the same type of clothing.

Now Matt has to choose between Heather and Shawna! I say he should go for Heather. He’s always been in love with her. Shawna can take a hike.

Simon was not in a real triangle. Dina set him up. She just wanted to see how long it would take for Simon to tell her that her cousin kissed him. Her cousin never really liked him.

Matt just broke up Heather’s wedding. He better not say he don’t want to be with her anymore!

What? Did Dina just stick her  tongue in Simon’s mouth while they were kissing? Kids are growing up way to fast nowadays.

Matt is confusing me! Do you want to be with Heather or not?

That’s crazy! How can you go out with you little sister’s ex-boyfriend? This is hilarious. Now Lucy is trying to make Mary jealous by kissing Joe!

Oh my gosh! Matt doesn’t even want Heather! He really loves Shawna?

Yeah, that was wrong for Lucy to do. Joe really likes her and she was just using him.

Awwwwwwwww, I’m about to shed a tear. Matt just told Shawna that he loves her. Matt is finally growing up.

Aw man. Mary broke up with Jordan! I wanted them to stay together so it would spice up the show.

Ugh. Shawna and Heather are friends now. I want to see a fight.

The season finale was pretty good for the fact that almost the whole season was pretty boring but I just wish that there was a little more drama but I still rate it a 5 though. I am interested in watching more seasons of this show because I want to see when Jessica Biel left the show.

Lucy has 2 new friends.

Why in every show, there is always a friendship when there is 2 girls and 1 boy. For example “That’s So Raven,”  “iCarly” and “Three’s Company.” There is more but I can’t think of them right now.

How awkward is going to your ex- girlfriend’s wedding with your new girlfriend?

I think Matt has finally setled down with having one girlfriend. In the beginning episodes, he was always chasing after a new girl but now all he talks about is Shawna.

I’m sleepy. It’s around 12 midnight and I’m in my room alone watching this. This is the last episode I’m watching tonight.

Wow! 13 year olds are just like 13 year olds now. All they want to do is make out with each other, except now, making out turns into teenage pregnancy!

Is this episode about “triangles?” Simon is in a love triangle with with his girlfriend, Dina, and her cousin. Matt still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Heather, even though he has a new girlfriend, Shawna. Lucy’s friend, Joe, likes her but her other friend, Shelby, likes him. Mary likes Lucy’s ex- boyfriend.

What?! Heather’s soon to be husband is cheating on her?! Oh no he didn’t!

I knew that was going to happen. Of course Heather is not going to believe Matt because she knows that he is still in love with her.

I feel like this show got a little bit better during the last few episodes of the season. I hated the first episodes because there were no types of excitement.

Oh my gosh. Heather loves Matt back? What about his girlfriend? I was not expecting that at all!

I rate this episode a 5. The story was great. I was not expecting the ending of part 1. I can’t wait to see part 2.

Are these old people really going to throw a funeral for a dog?! Are you serious? Why a re people so attached to dogs? Sometimes I see people carrying their dogs in purses. Why are you carrying your dog when it has 4 legs and you only have 2? If I had a dog, my dog would be carrying me!

Why is Matt in a cop car?

I’ve never eaten in a restaurant where the prices of the food weren’t on the menu.

Mary is so spontaneous! I would never make out with a guy in an open cop car. Is she crazy?

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Why is Mary so angry?

Hey, Mary just said “ass!” That’s a bad word on this show. The proper word is “bottom.”

Is this episode about relationships between siblings. Lucy and Simon’s girlfriend’s older brother is chaperoning Simon’s date. Mary is angry at Matt for interfering with her kissing a guy in the cop car. Ruthie’s date can’t stand babies because he’s not going to be an only chilld anymore.

Yeah, making out in a car is daring. People are so nosey.

Awwwwww, the dog died.

I think dogs go to heaven too. I think they are the only animals that have close relationships with people. They are a man’s best friend.

I liked this episode. I love Mary’s spontaneity. She really spices up the show. She is my favorite character. I rate it a 5.

Yeah, how do you know that there really is a God? Answer that Mr. Reverend Camden.

Why is so hard for the dad to believe that God told his client to come talk to him? The dad is a minister. He should believe in these things!

What the heck????? How did a monkey get into their backyard?

The dad’s client name is Rudy.

The school does not have a good enough reason to fire Rudy. Just because he’s saying that God talks to him that doesn’t mean he is crazy and his age has nothing to do with it.

I think “the voice” in this episode is God.

The theme is about listening to people whom others can’t see. Ruthie is talking to a monkey in a tree but anytime someone else comes around, the monkey disappears. It seems like Ruthie is the only one who can see the monkey in the tree. Matt is hallucinating the fact that he is seeing a guy coming out of his girlfriend’s house in the morning which makes him think that his girlfriend is cheating on him.

Just let Rudy keep his job! It’s not like he’s asking for a raise or he’s terrible at what he does. Age has nothing to do with his work.

Ruthie is not crazy! There really is a monkey in the tree.

What does “shellacking” mean? I’m going to look that word up.

Maybe God was talking to Rudy! He just saved everyone’s life!

This episode was okay. It didn’t get interesting until the end. I rate it a 3.

Oh my gosh! Simon is a paperboy? Are we in the 1920′s? Don’t tell me that he delivers milk too?

Ruthie and Simon have a close relationship. Ruthie hardly has real conversations with Lucy, Mary or Matt.

How does Mary feel? All of Mary’s guy friends like Lucy instead of her.

I’m really not sure about what’s going on in this episode. Something about the chairman of the school sleeping with a student and he might get fired?

What is Mary up to? Why is she setting up Lucy on a blind date?

People always think that a minister’s family is suppose to be perfect. People always judge others when they are no better themselves.

Ewwwwwww. Lucy’s date looks like such a nerd.

That’s a good one. Matt asked “Why do people care so much?”  and the guy said ” well I don’t know, why do people care so little?” Ha! That shut Matt up!

How is the man suppose to pay Simon, if his money is in the house and Simon locked him outside?

Who is the girl that slept with the chairman? They are only showing his wife. I want to hear the other girl’s side of the story too.

Oh my gosh. This episode is so boring. There is no excitement or surprises. I’m starting to fall asleep.

The lesson of this episode is that everything you do affects all the people around you. Mary only set Lucy up on a date because she wanted to distract the guy from noticing that she scratched his car. Mary didn’t realize that she was playing with other people’s feelings just so she can get away with what she did to the guy’s car. The chairman slept with a student but did not realize how strongly other students would react to the situation including his wife. A man doesn’t want to pay Simon for delivering  papers to him but he doesn’t know that Simon might lose his job if he doesn’t pay him.

This episode is a let down compared to the one before this. I rate it a 3.

Okay, this episode is about accepting the way people feel about you and accepting what happens to you in life. The title matches the story of the episode.

What?! Matt is going to join the army to find a way to pay for college? Wow, I was not expecting that from him at all! I just thought he was going to move out sooner or later just like in the first episode.

Does Ruthie have any friends of her own? I feel like I never see her interacting with people her own age in a friendly way.

Yeah, Simon I agree with you. I believe in bad luck too.

I think the dad is going to have to accept that he is not the best at giving advice.

There is a little humor in this episode. That’s new!

The lady is going to accept that her husband wants a divorce.

That’s very spontaneous of Lucy and Mary! I would never jump into another guy’s car that was a complete stranger and then play “ring around the Chevy.”

Oh my gosh. I was not expecting that either. I didn’t know that the man was going to crash into Mary’s car. If they weren’t playing “ring around the Chevy,” they would of been killed!

Whoa, the mom didn’t forgive the man for crashing into Mary’s car. I thought this was a forgiving family! I was not expecting that from her at all.

I guess Ruthie is going to do anything for attention for the rest of the season.

The parents are going to have to accept that Matt wants to join the army.

Awwwwwwwwww man! Matt’s not going to join the army anymore? Why?

Oh, it’s because he failed the test. But if he did pass the test he would of joined the army. That would of been interesting to see.

There were a lot of surprises in this episode. Some of the characters did things that I weren’t expecting them to do. It is hard for me to predict any further actions that the characters will do because in every episode there is a new theme and there are so many new characters in each episode which makes it hard to see the development of each character. Everything changes in each episode. Overall, the story was good so I rate it a 5. This is my favorite episode so far.

That man seems suspiciuos.

Oh, Lucy’s ex-boyfriend name is Jimmy? All this time I’ve been calling him Jordan!

I guess the show’s name is 7th Heaven because there are 7 people in the house and heaven is a place where you are at peace. Their home looks like it’s heaven; it’s all white and it’s huge. The song says “where can you go, when the world don’t treat you right? The answer is home. That’s the one place that you’ll find.” That line relates to the show because unlike other families, I see that everybody is open with their problems. They always go to one another when they need help. For a family with seven kids, I find it interesting that they don’t seem to fight with one another because I fight with my brother all the time and there’s only two of us [siblings] in our home.

Oh, Jordan and Jimmy are two different people. Jimmy is another ex-boyfriend that Lucy had. He’s probably from last season.

What fight did Matt and his girlfriend, Shawna, have? I’m surprised that Matt still likes her. It seems like in every episode, he has a new love interest.

I can tell that this episode is about being suspicious of other people. Lucy is wondering if Jimmy is taking drugs, the dad is suspicious of some other man in his church that might be taking his job and Matt is wondering why Shawna is not picking up her phone.

Finally the babies have stopped crying!

The dad is not going to get fired. I predict that the people in his church are going to throw him a party because of the birth of his twin babies.

Sometimes I feel paranoid too. I’m always wondering what other people are thinking about. It drives me crazy .

Jimmy and his friends are so stupid! Why would you smoke marijuana on school property in the middle of the day?

Oh my gosh! If Ruthie would of told Matt that Shawna called him and left a message, Matt wouldn’t be wondering if Shawna dumped him!

Why won’t Shawna just find Matt in school or stop by the house if she needs to talk to him?

If Jimmy got caught with marijuana, why is he in school the next day? Why didn’t he get arrested?

I predict that Simon is going to make the basketball team even though he feels like he isn’t good enough.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, Ruthie didn’t tell Matt about Shawna’s phone call because she just wants attention from him!

My prediction about Simon was right. He made the team as water boy.

I was right about the church throwing the dad a party. He was not getting fired after all.

I liked this episode because I related to their theme of being paranoid. The story was good. I rate it a 5.

Want to know what’s worst than one baby crying? Two baby’s crying!

That’s stupid! Why would you take a job, that pays minimum wage, delivering from place to place when you have to use your own car and buy your own gas? The gas money you’re going to have to spend on gas is going to cost more than what you get paid!

Where is Mary going? That girl is always sneaking out.

I wonder……..do babies ever get tired of crying? I mean…….do they ever say, “okay, that’s enough. Let’s save some for tomorrow?” I feel like babies can cry forever, non-stop.

Uh-uh! Lucy’s ex-boyfriend, Jordan, just got out of a relationship with her and now he’s going after her big sister, Mary? Ughhhh……….all men are scum!  One of these days, I predict that Mary and Jordan are going to hook-up.

I think when one baby starts crying, that makes the other baby start crying. The mom needs to separate them.

Ruthie isn’t going to runaway. She’s bluffing. That little girl is dying for attention!

Wait, what did Ruthie just say to Matt? Aw man, let me rewind it. I wasn’t paying attention. Just re-winded it and I didn’t miss anything. Lame!

This episode is so bad, that I can’t even find a theme.

I think this episode is about making decisions for yourself. Matt decided to quit his job, Mary decided to let go of her ex-boyfriend and Ruthie decided not to run away.

I don’t want to watch this show anymore. When I can find a theme in each episode of any show that I watch, I feel like I’m watching “Barney” because in that show there is always a topic in each episode. I could be watching “Family Guy” right now. I rate this one a 2.
